PPC - Pay per click
This can be from both sides ie either earning amounts on clicks (on adverts) or paying for clicks on your adverts.
URL - Uniform resource locator
Basically this is the domain name itself.
SEO - Search Engine Optimization
Getting a website to be as friendly as possible to rank highly with search engines. Search engines are the likes of MSN Yahoo Google and all the other lessor known names.
DNS - Domain name setting
All domain names must be attached to the internet in order to be able to function with displayable data. Name Servers are the devices on the IT system that achieve this. Generally there are a minimum of 2 DNS settings.

Traffic = number of users clicking on your site in a given period
Bots = "robotic" scripts that index sites and do other actions
CTR = click through rate, usually referenced against adverts being displayed and user action percentage clicking on the ads, like say 10%.
Adsense = advertising program that Google runs. Try www.google.co.uk/ads etc to see about this. |
